It's no surprise that 2020 has seen some amazing volunteer work by many dedicated community members, from all walks of life and in a huge variety of tasks.
Two of those volunteers, Danielle Murphy and Chris Walters, have been included in the 2020 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll.
The Hidden Treasures Honour Roll is an initiative of the Department of Primary Industries' Rural Women's Network to formally recognise and thank inspiring rural women volunteers within NSW rural, regional and remote communities.

Danielle and Chris have been coordinating the Cobargo Bushfire Relief Centre together for the past ten months and have made a huge impact on many lives in the aftermath of the 2019 NYE bushfires.
On hearing of the nomination, Chris Walters said she felt very humbled, as there were many volunteers and people who had contributed to the bushfire recovery work and she was just one of the team.
"Volunteering, in any capacity, is such a rewarding and worthwhile thing to do," she said.
"One is helping the community, meeting new people and, in the case of the Bushfire Relief Centre, putting smiles on peoples' faces as we offer them assistance in extremely difficult times. There is always room for more volunteers!"
Danielle Murphy said it was a great honour and she was "delighted to be included in the Hidden Treasures Honour Roll with so many amazing women making such important contributions to their communities".
"Anyone, with any skill base, can volunteer and be useful to their community. It's about using the skills and energy of each individual to enrich the whole district," Danielle said.
Danielle and Chris were included in the 2020 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll to acknowledge their work at the Cobargo Bushfire Relief Centre, but also their ongoing volunteering and commitment to their communities over many years.
